Amazing Places on Earth

                                                                                                                                                                                   ~~~      The Republic of Seychelles comprises 115 islands occupying a land area of 455 km² and an Exclusive Economic Zone of 1.4 km² in the western Indian Ocean. It represents an archipelago of legendary beauty that extends from between 4 and 10 degrees south of the equator and which lies between 480km and 1,600km from the east coast of Africa. Of these 115 islands, 41 constitute the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on earth while a further 74 form the low-lying coral atolls and reef islands of the Outer Islands.
The granitic islands of the Seychelles archipelago cluster around the main island of Mahé, home to the international airport and the capital, Victoria, and its satellites Praslin and La Digue. Together, these Inner Islands form the cultural and economic hub of the nation and contain the majority of Seychelles’ tourism facilities as well as its most stunning beaches.~
Natural Pool?
    Pamukkale -An unusual natural and historical site with the sparkling white castle -like cascades, Pamukkale is one of the most important highlights of Turkey, unique in the world. The site is named in Turkish as "Pamukkale", that means "cotton castle", parallel to the glorious and spectacular view of the site. The dazzling white calcareous castles are formed by limestone-laden thermal springs, creating the unbelievable formation of stalactites, potholes and cataracts. Waters in the terraces are the sediments of the springs with calcium bicarbonate in 33C. Waters, containing mainly calcium salts and carbon-dioxide, run off the plateau's by depositing calcium while carbon-dioxide disappearing. The marvelous landscape of Pamukkale has been created by this gradual formation, leaving a cotton-like image. Located above the theatre of Hierapolis, the mineral water sources from the thermal springs of Cal Mountain. It is collected in a pool, known as the "Sacred Pool" of ancient times, where you can swim amidst the historical remains of Hierapolis.
The water of Pamukkale is famous for its benefits to the eyes and skin; and its curing properties to the ills of asthma, rheumatism, as well. The remains of the ancient Hierapolis are situated on back of the thrilling white terraces, standing wondrously in the area.
A Desert in Europe?
The Great Dune of Pyla, France~
What we do know that Europe has no deserts, but this assumption is wrong. Europe has a unique dune Pyla ie, the length of 3 km, width of 500 m and height of 100 meters. This place is famous for being the place of paragliding activity. Besides the uniqueness of the dunes, which is also amazing is the surrounding scenery from the heights where we could see the sea and forests.
A Place in Heaven?
Mount Roraima, bordered by three different countries (Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana) whose border lines intersect on the massive shelf, is surrounded on all four sides by sheer 400-meter high cliffs. While its cliff walls are only scalable by the most experienced of climbers, there is a hiking path up the mountain’s natural ramp-like path (usually a two-day hike).
However, the mountain is worth a visit for more reasons than its impressive cliffs. Mount Roraima, part of Venezuela’s 30000-square-kilometer Canaima National Park, is the site of the highest peak of the country of Guyana’s Highland Range. The mountains of this range, including Roraima, are considered to be some of the oldest geological formations known, some dating back to two-billion years ago. Its near daily rains have also created a unique ecosystem which includes several endemic species, including a unique carnivorous pitcher plant, and some of the highest waterfalls in the world.
A Paradise on Earth.
Yosemite National Park lies in the heart of California. With its ‘hanging’ valleys, many waterfalls, cirque lakes, polished domes, moraines and U-shaped valleys, it provides an excellent overview of all kinds of granite relief fashioned by glaciation. At 600–4,000 m, a great variety of flora and fauna can also be found here.
Yosemite National Park, on the west slope of the central Sierra Nevada Mountains, is an area of outstanding scenic beauty and great wilderness value. The park represents practically all the different environments found within the Sierra Nevada, including sequoia groves, historic resources, evidence of Indian habitation, and domes, valleys, polished granites and other geological features illustrating the formation of the mountain range. PARK during Winter, LAKE during Summer?
Located in Tragoess, Styria,Autria this mountain lake is almost completely dry during the cold winter months. But as soon as temperatures rise, the snow and ice covering the mountaintops begin to melt, and the water pours down, filling the basin below with crystal-clear water and creating a 10 meter-deep lake, for half the year.
Pink Lake?
Pink Lake is a lake that colored salts are very amazing and very beautiful with surrounded by hills. The Lake is located in the Goldfields-Esperance, Western Australia only 3 kilometers west of Esperance and is bounded on the East by South Coast Highway. Pink Lake is not always pink in color but the typical color of the water changes as a result of the green alga Dunaliella salina halobacterium cutirubrum, Halobacteria, and high concentration of brine shrimp. After the lake water reaches the level of salinity is greater than sea water, the temperature is high enough and adequate light conditions and started collecting red pigment beta carotene. The pink Lake Halobacteria grows in the salt crust at the bottom of the Lake and the color of the Lake is the result of a balance between salina and cutirubrum. The water in the Lake is always seems to have a pink color. During the dry summer months when high levels of salt and you will see it being Strawberry pink and often becomes red. And the color is not the result of chemicals dumped in the Lake but natural, indeed a wonder of the world. Before the production of Pink Salt Lake is investigated in 1980 and salt produced in solar ponds at the eastern end of the Lake. The company WA salt supply produce water salt, coarse salt and Sheepskin salt at the Esperance site.
Lake at the border.
Straddling the California and Nevada state border this is America’s largest and second deepest lake, in addition to being one of the most beautiful.
Lake Tahoe is more for the adventurous types and not really filled with an array of wildlife. However, do expect to see Bears on patrol looking for food.
The activities you can pursue are wide ranging, from hiking and skiing to fishing and parasailing. You can also play a round of golf, but this doesn’t really count as an adventure. Get out of the more populous areas and explore the surround wilderness, but be mindful of the unpredictable snowstorms.
White Sand Desert?
Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dunefield. White Sands National Monument preserves a major portion of this unique dune field, along with the plants and animals that live here.
Frozen Wave in Antarctica?
